Getting my bike ready for the spring here. Can anyone explain to me how to lube my hubs? I just can't really see how to get to the bearing?

what brand hubs? Can you snap a pic. If you cannot figure it out, more than likely they are sealed cartrage bearing. Sometimes you can take those hubs apart by hand.

I have a rear shimano hub and front Forumla (french mtb company) hubs. They are fine, I just wanted to make sure they are in top condition. I will check it out and get back with some pictures.

It is good you want to service them, once they get rough you did unrepairable damage to the bearings. The shimano should need a 17mm open end and a 15mm cone wrench (a very thin wrench, about as thick as a quarter). The formula is probaly similar but 13mm cone wrench and 15mm open end wrench.

Yeah there is no problem with them currently. Just want to take care of them and have a nice smooth ride.
