There is a guy near 4wd Hardware that has a plethera of Jeep parts. It's almost guarenteed he has a starter, but you do have to drive up there. If you want his contact info. let me know.

I sprung and bought a new starter. I just didn't want to hear Matt complaining about me blocking his driveway anymore.

Buying a new starter is probably cheaper than the gas to go get a used junker one!

Hang on, I'm still trying to get up off of the floor.

90ish plus 35 core.... It cost WAYYYYY more than that if you factor in all the broken tools.

To replace a starter, it took us 4 hrs, 5lbs of CO2 (Brandon, I need that refilled, lol) three drill bits, one cut off wheel, 3 sockets, one easy out, a case of beer, a large pizza, one pack of smokes, half a can of chew, countless choice words, and roughly 3lbs of mud in our faces. Oddly enough, the exhaust took 10 min. And my friend Mindy sat there the whole time sewing my top back together.

All in all, it's done. It starts, its not as windy, not as loud, put licence plate back on, and cleaned out the back.

I didn't even make it to the bar.:013::013:
