I was just wondering if anybody else was a die-hard talk radio junkie? I wake up listening to 104.7 (Jim Quinn,Glenn beck,Rush,Hannity) after all that I get pretty burned out and usally don't listen to Michael Savage. I was just wondering if I was alone here or is there other addicts here?

You need to change the title to "Political" talk radio.

I use to listen to Quinn when he was on 96.9. I still listen to DVE's morning show (though no, Jim and Randy is no where near as good a Scott and Jim were). Howard Stern is a **** nut asshole and can't stand him. I would rather dig my brains out with a dull wooden spoon than listen to his shit.

Quinn cracks me up, but too many conspiracy theories. He was my neighbor where I grew up, was always a little "off." He once threw a cinder block in front of some 17 year old driving down our road, to teach her a lesson to slow down.

You know, if you listen to Quinn for a few months and then pull out the paper, you'll see that what he was talking about 2 months ago, is now happening. Just because it's a conspiracy theory does not mean it's not true.

Oh I know, and I listen almost every day, but occasionally he takes it too far when news is slow... which isn't lately. I have a negative view of him not based on his politics, but what a dick he was in the neighborhood!

Well that seems a bit extreme, I know the point he was trying to get across, I myself live on a dead end street, and the neighbor boys (respectful, young, bright) turn into mario andretti behind the wheel, and hit speeds well over 50mph in a short distance. My whole street is filled with young kids who often pop out behind cars. A cinder block is not the answer but them hitting a child would be worse! sometimes talking is not enough....We'll I'm offtrack, I'm a free thinker and give thought into every point of view, I do however find myself agreeing with quinn on mostly all political views, Glenn Beck sometimes get me depressed, maybe cause the truth hurts! Rush is always optamistic, and Hannity is fair.

The girl was hardly even speeding, and she wrecked.

It was unneeded.

Hannity makes me laugh my ass off.

But come on, a guy who for a contest on his morning show who takes blow up dolls, fills them full of Helium and then lets them go from Mt Washington has to be cool...right? Quinn and Banana did this back in the 80's on B94.

Quinn = campfire in a box!

Only a few of the old-school PghOffRoaders will even know what that means, but the ones that do will have fond memories! ;)

Haha, Quinn lived in the townhouse next to Karstman, one of the oldies (he moved to CO). When he was moving out, he gave us a bunch of "campfires in a box" which was really just a cardboard box with a bunch of newspaper in it... but they started fires well!)

Am I the only one who waits daily for 3pm to roll around so that I can hear Bubba The Love Sponge on Sirius?

Mark out to BTLS!

I listen to NPR in the morning and evening. Sometimes I listen to Beck. I wish Neal Bortz was still on around here.
