Nice looking jeeps you have there. There are a few Butler boys on here for you to meet up with and have a good time. There is some nice wheeling to be had in the Butler area.

Thanks to all,

The new store opened up last Monday, and we are still stocking it up. For the ones who dont know I'm your local Fastenal GM. come over and see what we have some time.

Back to the Jeep thing.... This is the YJ getting its new cage and seats. I will pickit up this weekend and will be getting it up to pa. Who knows with no house I might need to put it in Fastenal :042:

Welcome and nice YJ. I'm close to Butler also. If you really need a place to stash your jeep briefly I have a few sq. feet left between other vehicles.:042:(8 vehicles on 1 acre)

PM me with your Fastenal info. At work I keep getting switched around between fastenal salesmen and lately none of them show up at our shop. I think its close enough to butler that you could slide in on the account if your in sales.

update,

We got a place out in Evan City & we got moved in last weekend. The shop is no where near working due to all the junk tossed in the middle. lol But hope to have that up in no time. I do need some help is there is a chevy TBI guru around. I need some help troubleshooting the Heep.

it has:

1989 SBC TBI
Painless wiring kit
RCI tank
Stock Fule pump and filter out of a 1989 3500

?????????
I have a 3 wire plug for the alternator, one wire is thicker and the other two so I think it will go to the Bat, and think the others would be a ground and a key pwr. but all 3 wires are blk. Help

The jeep starts up but its like it is in limp in mode.

ALSO
No o2 at this time and I blocked off the EGR

I'm just off ex 83 of I79 if you would like to look at it. Let me know what kind of frosty you like.

Thanks
Mike

How ya doin mike.

Nice YJ!

TBI's are pretty simple creatures, but you still need a certian amount of pc's hooked up for it to run right. No 02 to begin with will always have you in open loop.

Best thing to do is get a manual for your engines original app (no idea on the compatability of the Painless harness, but they should be guiding you if you spent good money with them)

As for the alternator, you need one to the bat (thick one) one to switched ignition power, & one to ground ( I think)

I have a bender... not sure what you mean by stats though.
Do you want to know what your tube work weighs ? Or do you want to add some.

Ding Ding Ding,

I found in a link that "ONLY use the ECM for a 1987-90 GM pickup truck or Suburban with a 5.7L (350ci) engine." I have a 1992. Also I need to get a o2 for the Jeep.
