Picking up U-bolts, brake lines and misc hardware tommorow. Ordering new MTZ's tommorow as well.

Ive got six days to build the XJ for our yearly Childrens Offroad Jamboree.

Plans:
3.5" up front
4" in the back
OEM JK X Shocks with homemade BPE's.
Dakota rear line
WJ LCA's
33's on soft 8s with 4" BS
locked d30 up front
front and rear hitch
CB

The only thing Im worried about is that the shocks wont be long enough and I wont have enough time to get new ones in. Im gonna try them though.

you would be suprised, I have a set of BPE's for the front. Your a bit general when you said you have a set of homemade BPE's (front, rear or both?) Hit me up if your interested.

I decided to just order shocks. The cheapest that Rough Country have. $120 shipped. I figure they will ride rough but at least they will fit properly.

I would go with heavier than 1/8 in angles for those bpe's. Remember you will have all the weight of the axel on those when fully drooped. Unless you have limit straps. Jmo good luck:gear_cool2:

I thought that as well though I know a handful of people that have been running them for a few years with no problems at all. I ordered lift appropriate shocks so I may not need to do them after all. IF I do need them Ill see if I can get some thicker steel.

Sounds like a sweet build, definetly need to post some pictures when you get it built, maybe even some pictures during the build.

Hey no worries, it not like I don't at least have 1,000 posts of useless information. I'm trying to make it 1 or 2 more.
