After almost 2 months of waiting paciently I finally got my tailbone tire carrier from Detours USA. Pretty nice carrier for the $$. It was a hell of a lot cheaper than buying a whole new bumper and Im on a budget...

First ya got to take off the bumper. This was the hardest damn part

This bolt gave me a hell of a time. Breaker bar and one click of the ratchet at a time! Took forever, but she came out!

Then you bolt on the cross members. One on the inside and one on the outside and bolt them together. There are also nut strips tat go down into the uni rail that replace the factory ones and get tied into the cross members...

Measure and cut the bumper skin to fit over the shackel mounts..

Drill holes in the bumper skin and bolt on the outside plates and sandwich the bumper skin. Bolt the hitch back on, toss on the swing, attach the latch, move the license plate over...

The install couldnt have been easier. Its tied into the unibody and cross member really well. Im sure it could take a pull, but Ill still use the hitch for recovery. What do ya think?
