Is there some special tool or trick to take off steering knuckes of a dana 30. I finally got my new ford 9(pics to come) today and it reuses the knuckes from the dana 30 and i can't figure out how to get them off... I've unbolted everything that needs to... i think.
Any help or tip is appreciated :)

A big hammer, not some 16 oz. hammer your wife uses to hang pictures.

used the google, found a picture. Different knuckle design, same idea:

hammer deforms metal and ball joint comes loose.

Most people use a ball joint press.
You can rent them from Autozone for free.
