Well my old bumper was rusting out, so now its time for a new one.
I saw 4WD has a procomp bumper for $86 anybody use this one before?

The other option is to buy a stock replacement and new end caps, I think this one would protect the fenders a bit more. Would YJ bumper ends fit a TJ bumper?
I dont have time to build one so its one of the above.

I have a stock TJ bumper with the endcaps and bumpers. Its a little bent, but I'll trade for a foot-long GetGo sub.

Damn, I was hoping for a paint drawing of a bumper with a built-in easy bake oven powered by the Hella lights mounted to it.

Doesn't look like a bad pc at all for the money. I always hated the recievers placed low in the bumper though, ends up becoming a ground plow everytime.

I Think might have to take you guys up the the stock bumpers, and I get some new rubber ends from 4wd.
Though there was this smittybilt tube bumper http://www.4wd.com/productdetails.aspx?partID=13295

OK so no tube bumpers, now its just a fight between the stock freebies, and the procomps.

When to 4WD Friday and got this smitty built for $150ish now to just reattach the tow hooks and drill holes to but on the lights.
I found the pins in the shackles don't like to stay tight, locktite them or some cotterpins/wire?

New bumper looks good.
I just tighten the pins in the shackle by putting a screw driver through the eye of the pin and tighten it. It keeps it tight and hopefully deters someone from walking by and taking it off by hand.

/\ /\ That's what i usually do also. Another thing to try if you don't want them cranked tight when your using them often is to put a rubber o-ring on the pin, between the pinhead and shackle. The rubber gives it something to grab onto.
