Hey all. I wanted to post some pictures of a sami i have been working on for a while(over a year). It is finally taking shape and I want to show some people what they will be seeing on the pittsburgh trails soon. But I have 2 problems. 1-i have no idea how to post pictures, so i will have to send them to someone to post for me. 2-it is not a jeep, so i hope you all can cope with a Suzuki on 36's

Ralph, go to www.photobucket.com and upload the pictures there. (It is very easy to do.) After that use the link to attach the pics.

I don't care if it's a pink cadillac or a tube buggy, if you're building an off-road rig out of it, we wanna see pics!

i am not going to list everything that is on it, or going on it, unless you ask. i would be typing all day. lets just say 99.5% of the custom work was done by me, except for the lift(shaffers offroad).and yes.... the cage is 2"

Nice job Ralph! Looks like you took your time and did everything right the first time. What size are the irok's? What will become of the orange Sami?

This Sami is for a customer of Ralph's. There's 2 more in the driveway right now waiting to be turned into something cool. This one "should" be done by February. It still needs to be wired, the driveshafts need to be built, and the body needs painted.

I doubt in the pics anyone but a Sami owner would notice the coolest part of the whole thing. Ralph extended the frame and body 16". I suppose it's a Samurai Unlimited now. If Jason is up for it, I think it would be cool to bring it to a Meet & Greet when it's done so people can check out all the stuff Ralph has done before it gets abused on the trail.

Thats's nothing short of sick.

Definately M&G time to see it when it's all done.

It looks even cooler in person. You need to see some detailed pictures of the custom dash, top of the roll cage (unlike anything anyone has seen before) and the axle guards. It amazes me everytime I stop by!

the IROK super swampers are 36x13.50 mounted on 15x10 Trail Ready bead locks. The orange sami will never die. She is parked for a cople of months until i get jasons sami together. I have to put my new leaf springs on. But the sami i posted pics of is jason detars'(he had the white ZJ 5.9). i think he is pleased with his new toy. thanks for all the positive replies

I think Jason will have about 15 to 20,000 into it. That is for everything, including paying me to build it. I don't think it is a bad price to pay. When it is all done, it will be locked with heat treated axles, automatic transmission, V6 motor, onboard air, LIne X tub, about 70 feet of DOM tubing in the rollcage, a long arm 8" coil lift, and lots more.

Seems fair to me...it's a SWEET rig.

sounds good, I have been buying parts like crazy for the next Greensburg creation. 1988 samurai,38" swampers, 36" Sway A Way coil overs, and Toyota axles. Give me about 2 years and you will have one tuff rock samurai..
