I'm not sure the year. but he has a coil spacer and aal. it's the front's I'm iffy about... that whole a arm and all that crap seems like sensless overkill..

It must be an 05 or newer then because I think the 04's and older are like my Xterra with torsion bars up front.

Here's a good resource page with lots of How Too's. It's for Xterra but they should be about the same.

Well then it has to have torsion bars up front. There's a couple ways to lift it. The poor mans way of just installing the AAl in the rear and cranking the t-bars up a bit.

Or he can replace the front upper A arms and get aftermarker t-bars and crank them up even more. I ran that setup for several years until I did a solid axle swap. With the 2" body lift I had I was able to clear 34" swampers.

More info here.

Tell him the easiest way to lift that pig is trade it in on a Jeep.

If he gets a Jeep then He'll have to get a AAA membership to tow him home when it breaks.

Yeah I think its the wrong kit. If you follow this link you'll see that from 98-04 they used t-bars. 05 and up they went to coils.
