I'm losing business and am beginning to feel a cash flow crunch that's scary, and I should be selling everything and considering moving to a smaller place "Just In Case"

So naturally I did the thing any red blooded american would do, and bought a new toy that I shouldn't spend money on. I couldn't pass it up, I walked out of the store (Dicks) for about $320 before tax.

Savage 111 - 30 06

Well you can kill just about anything in North America with it. Reach out and kill something.

Ahhh, so it can kill just about anything... So my question really would have to be: "Will it fit in the trunk of your new car Wrecker?" (Without folding the rear seats down...

Savages are great rifles and the .06 is an amazing round. You shouldn't be disapointed with it. We have a couple of old Savages, a single shot bolt .22-250, and an over/under .222/20ga.

Matt, if you need any BB's for that, let me know. I stocked up on surplus '06 form the CMP. Ball round (FMJ), shoots well, non corrosive. I use it in my Garands. Pretty reasonably priced.

Screw that. That should only be shot in a Garand. So I'm saying I might want some.

Savage makes a good, accurate rifle. It should work well for you.

I hunted with that rifle last year or the year before. My uncle swapped me guns since he was gonna be hunting brush all season. Real nice gun, shot nice groups, and action was smooth enough for me.
What scope you have on it?
