Anybody know where I can good price on .50 BMG today around the Pgh area? North Hills/Butler would be preferred.

I'm planning on a shooting rampage and this can't wait.... j/k there is a good chance I'll meeting some friends tomorrow and I can't expect him to pay for the ammo to shoot that thing. A decent price should be $3.25-3.50 a round.

That is pretty good. The only online site I trusted was cheaperthandirt and that has their price beat some. I think I'll order some for next time in the spring.

Thanks!

I'm assuming you checked out Dunhams on McKnight?

When I went in there last (Sept) they had a 50 cal rifle for sale, so I'm going to assume they carry ammo for it.

Just an FYI, cheaperthandirt... Isnt. Damn near anything you can get from them, you can get cheaper with out much if any effort. Brownells and The Sportsmans Guide are good places. I have ordered from all of them, all are very good companies to deal with.

If you don't mind shooting reman ammo, http://georgia-arms.com/index.aspx is a great place to get some damn good loads for cheap. They buy the military, once fired, spent brass, and reman it. Do a search, you'll find nothing but good reviews, except for maybe the back log of orders over the past year.

I'm not usually buying the military sizes, just basic handgun ammo and usually just go to some local box store and overpay because I only buy a few boxes at a time. But at the cost of .50 ammo, I'm glad I asked.

Thanks for the choices. I won't get another chance at the big gun until sometime probably in the spring but I'm definately going to order some as soon as my xmas bills are paid. It it comes linked, I think I'll wear it as a bandolier for a few days first.
