well, long story short, the trans crossmember in my jeep cracked damn near in half after 5 years of abuse.. this was unexpected and so now my cj is disabled in my garage.... time to get a new one built and quick as i have other things i need my garage for. soo i am gonna build a more permanent one hopefully http://www.hrja.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif (the 3/8" thick steel one didnt last)
heres the progress so far.
drilled holes through the frame and welded in sleeves to make a stronger, more rockproof mounting method.

put it on macro mode. looks good so far, is it gonna include a skid for the t-case?

My ghetto ass old camera doesn't have macro. There will be a lot more to this when its done. Most of the driveline will be plated as I seem to like to use it as a skid rail lol!

well, i got all of the understructure finished, gotta add some tabs for the mounting points outside the frame rails, finish the welds where i couldnt reach, paint and its done! http://www.hrja.org/forums/images/smilies/applaudit.gif

yeah, sick of headers shaking the bolts loose and blowin gaskets. the flex makes a nice buffer as it takes the strain of a solid exhaust off :001:
