i've got the camping itch! :080:

there are still many sites open (dog sites too!) it'd be cool if any of you would happen to be up there camping over that weekend too...

mmm not sure where that is.... when 899 goes over the river you would make a right on back st. then left on cherry run road. he's got some AWESOME cabins there. a bit pricey to rent but

it was 30's at night last time i was up there. i'm pretty sure we'll be adding Saturday night to our stay...so more fun should be had.

i know one thing though....between me and you we'll need a shit ton of wood.

My family and I were ther in the 80's when the tornado came through. We stayed it out in a tent. I was young then and not much smarter now.

We were up there probably 10 or 11yrs ago and the same deal went down, hell of a storm come through, we ratchet strapped our pop up to four trees to keep it from blowin collapsed it was that bad. Lightning strikes everywhere and several large trees came down. Crushed a pickup and hurt a couple people from falling branches, that was on a friday night. The rest of the weekend was beautiful though. Definately one of my most memorable camping experiences.
