When do you want to make mine and sheet it with 1/8in plate? LOL, It looks great, I'm just not a fan of tubular bumpers on XJ's for sum reason, definately a sick bumper though Jeff.

he hasnt pushed it hard enough, hell those DC's arent even showing any wear! Love the look of the bumper though! Just need a bit more beef for the rear.

Can you still get a pin in the receiver to actually use it. Looks like some tube is in the way. Other than that its pretty.

I like it! Im not a big fan of tube bumpers on the XJ's (unless its on one of those gofast jeeps), but I think that'll fit that jeep well.

Has he considered cutting and folding those rear quarter panels though? I figured while hes getting a custom bumper made up, that would be the perfect time to do so. Those lower quarters have got to be made from some of the thinest sheet i've ever seen and doesnt take much to tear them up (or rot them out). That tube over the quarters looks like its a perfect way to trap mud/salt/snow in there and just eat away at those panels.

Not any more, notice all of the rivits. there was a little rot there so I cut out the bad stuff,POR'd and then bent those corners out of 14ga and used body fuser and stainless rivits to attach them. They are nice and heavy and those aren't going any where. the tube is about 3/4 in lower than the corner so they should take the hit first. that jeep doesn't get drivin in the winter enough to worry about the salt rotting it away again.
