i have a 88 cherokee, i am wanting steel wheels for it. it came with the fancy chrome wheels.

question is ... what other vehicles have the same lug pattern?

for example ... will the wheels off a late 80s ford ranger fit ?

I don't know how wide of a tire you are running but I know that my Accord rims are the same bolt pattern also. The back spacing would probably throw you off though.

looking at this chart ... i need a center bore of 71.5
so if i got dakota rims that have a 70.3 bore .... does this mean i need to open the bore by 1.2 ?

if so how is the best way ? since an angle grinder will not fit.

Crager wheels are litterally $32.00/ea at Summit. You can get them in any size and pretty much any backspacing you should ever consider running on a Jeep.

I know jeeps arent supposed to have any kind of bling wheels but come on. For the price of cheap steal wheels that look prety damn good why try to hack up dodge dakota wheels??? For the effort you will spend making wheels work that dont fit correct why not buy 4 brand new wheels for around $150?
