I put the 5.9 up for sale on craigslist and it was gone by the next day!

So kim (my wife) decided she wanted something smaller for driving downtown... she now owns this:

power windows and locks
side steps
Brand new 265/75/16's will go on it on tuesday (i had my choice of size)
24S package or whatever it's called.

i have to pick up the hard top for it this week. Plans at this point are:

4 door hard top rubicon springs/shocks (already here, supposedly 1-2" of lift on a 2 door)
32's (going on tues)
Daystar dash tray (ordering with the hard top wiring kit)
Mopar slush matts (also ordering with hard top wiring kit)
Sahara tinted hard top (picking up this week)

I have a 2" lift for it, but i doubt that'll go on it. the small boost and 32's should be fine for now. It was SOOOOO hard not to go 285's (33's) but this thing is a driver, not a wheeler. And i'd rather have the extra power and not constantly have my foot burried in it. Plus, this is kim's driver, so no need to go crazy.

and i get some huge upgrades :)

06 WK Hemi is now MY DD...

i couldn't believe she wanted a JK! i tried to talk her into a bunch of other crossover style SUV's but the loved this one!

sweet. Who gave you the choice on tires, your wife or the dealership?

the dealership. new tires were part of the deal and he didn't care what size i had them put on (within reason obviously) so i had him put 265's on it.

Awesome.

You have car ADD, but it somehow works out for you every time. That WK is a nice DD.

hmm power windows in a wrangler! is it more of a PITA to take the doors off now? is there some sort of "harness" that will hold up over time that disconnects the wiring?

So in the past, say, 2 years, how many driveable vehicles have you owned?

in a jk you have to unclip a little wire either way. it's no big deal, takes 1/2 a second. actually it's quicker than pulling the door plungers out of a TJ.

WOW, i have to go back through that... in the last 2 years...

2 door JK
WK
5.9 ZJ
TJ
Saab
WJ
TJ
TJ (although not street legal)
4 door JK
Compass (wife's)
YJ7

that's not too bad is it?
