if that is like a henrob or cobra or dillion, my buddies dad has one, he let me borrow it, its cool but really finnicky, and your regulators have to be perfect, its super hard to get adjusted, but if you can dial it in good, they are awesome

I looked into the 2x2 when it was being introduced, but I don't have the space or the work needed to make it worth my while to own one.

If you get one, you'll have a customer in me, since there are a few parts that the cnc would make way quicker/cleaner than I could freehand with the plasma.

Saw one in action at KOH. Damn nice piece of equipment, but a nice big pricetag to go with it. You'd have to churn out a lot of parts to make it worth your while.

The 2x2 is affordable if you do other work besides the occasional bracket or tab. 2 grand is a bargain for what you get.

Its one of those "how often am I REALLY going to need this sort of tools". A plasma cutter and a good metal blade on the jigsaw is a lot cheaper combo if you're doing only your own bracket work.

Well said.

And for the price and quality of brackets that are already commercially available (Ruff Stuff, Ballistic, etc), it's a wash. Your own time counts for something, and it's hard to beat the quality of those brackets.

How thick or thin can you cut with this table?

I can see 1000 uses if you can cut thin sheet steel or even change out the torch for a pen, when you can mark many different kinds of material for cutting.

You can cut thin sheetmetal and there is a plate marker option available.

I have one of Dallas' mockup Atlas cases and it was marked and cut on his torchmate...

I would love to have one.. It gets old running cardboard cut outs to the local guy with the cnc plasma and waiting on him to get the parts cut out. I looked at the one at KOH and it was awesome....

Since it doesn't come with a plasma unit, That would depend on what machine you have. Although I'm not sure what the controls entail, they have to have a speed setting for the torch.
