Wow, you actually made them look good :flipoff2:

Seriously though, that has to be one of the best TJ flare jobs I've seen on an XJ. Good job!

stainless nuts and bolts on the fronts, and 3M molding adhesive for the rears. seems to be working out so far.

yea i gotta grind off that rust though. ill have my hands on a grinder with a wire wheel tomorrow. so ill paint those and take my doors off. im all about low budget improvements. lol... door removal should cost me 15 bucks. cant wait

Eh, that adhesive is tuff stuff. Plus if you knock them off you won't damage the flare or the panel.

Do a write up with good pics on the doors. The post 96 write ups I've seen are lacking, do the wheeling community a favor Rob :) I'll drop mine off and you can do mine too

Nice job!! I think I'm going to steal your idea. I've been trying to come up with something since I tore my Bushwackers off at Creek Falls 2 weekends ago. Dam waste of $400. I hope nobody makes the same mistake I did. As soon as you rub a tree with those things they pull out. Now I have a bunch of little hole in my fenders. But seriously nice job, good looking XJ.

Did you use rear flares for the front also?

yea they are rears all around, and i painted them with duplicolor bed liner in a rattle can, if its anything ive learned from wheeling, and jeeping, listen to others, and take advice. and ive heard nothing but bad stuff in regards of bushwackers, no offense. i've seen tj flares go through hell and look like new later that day, and more importantly, still attached
