I'm not comfortable with showing my ass to anyone in the woods
Hopefully i will have more free time on the week ends to go wheeling. I'm not going to have to work on Sundays in about a month so that will help
And I'm trying to get my truck done also so I have a back up vehicle

Ya I think that was the last time I was out wheeling.
Still never fastened the fenders back on yet. I got the new clips but never got around to doing it yet.
I would like to get steel flat fenders for it but I think the wife would notice those

Fawk you Rudy! :flipoff2: And wifey would never ever notice tube fenders you gotta think of a way to slip em past or justify them, like smashing your factory fenders into something :) hehe

you gotta think of a way to slip em past
First explain you are going to save $$ & make flat fenders.
& explain (while she pretends to be interested) why you need them
Tell her you need her help & she is to hold an old fender (make sure she see's the old one come off the shelf) & beat the crap out of it by pounding around the wheel well until its flat.
That will last about 5 seconds,
Once she shakes her head, & blinks, tell her thanks but you do not want her to get all dirty or hurt and tell her you can handle it.
When she goes in the house screw on the new flat fenders.
After a couple nights go in & invite her out to show her how great they look. She will pretend to be interested & say either:
a) that's nice & pretend to be interested or
b) how much did they cost, and show interest for the 1st time.

That just might work
