just like most gun shows, not many good deals, but if there is something your really looking for you can sometimes find it. like looking for a specific rifle in a certain caliber, you might be able to get it.

the one guy selling holsters was a bit overpriced. i was looking for an ankle holster for a small automatic pistol and he had them for $75-95. i seen them online for 30-35, and was willing to pay up to $40, but not double.

ya, i found some surplus .38 JHP ammo for 15 bucks. that revolver was 300 which wasn't bad... i could buy new for 380 online and msrp was 490, but then i'd have to pay to ship it, and he went easy on me on the transfer fees and stuff, and it was in really nice shape. so it was worth it for me.

that 556 was 1500 which was about what they were online with that package. so he was fair on price. Plus not many people carry them and he had several different setups, which was nice.

ive been disapointed with shows lately. Seems like there are alot of good rifles but not good deals. Then there seem to be a lot of cheap/junky pistols.

Its nice to go and see what you are getting. Most stores dont carry the acceries i am looking for. So at least you can look at the stuff. Then order onilne chaeaper.

+1. I saw a lot of overpriced stuff. CMP Garands (rack grade) that sold for under 500.00 on sale at the gun show for 995.00. The place was packed Saturday when my brother and I went. Nobody appeared to be buying, just a horde of people milling around crop-dusting.

The SIG 556 is a nice rifle, I saw several for sale there. I hope the OP has better luck with his Taurus than I had with mine. After my trials with my Taurus 85 I decided that any round gun in my house would be labeled with Smith and Wesson, Ruger, or Colt.

i've had the same gun before and it worked fine. nothing fancy but no issues. so hopefully this will be the same.
