I have $350 store credit at Gander Mt. and I don't know what to buy everything is overpriced.

Ammo or a firearm?

If firearm...

I was looking at the Henry 22LR lever action rifles. The blued version (with 3/8 dove tail scope rail) is in my price range at $300 but for $460 you get the golden boy with all the brass, octagon barrel, and adjustable iron sights but no way to mount a scope, not that I think I would, but just saying. That would make my 6th 22 rifle so I don't know why I want it. Probably the cowboy look. I could get it in 22 magnum or 17hmr but I usually just stick to 22 LR because the ammo is stocked deep and cheap.

The Ruger mark 3 target pistols are awesome but my neighbor has 4 so I can borrow them anytime I want, but I wouldn't mind my own.

I was also looking for a 308 rifle but nothing caught my eye. But I have a Mosin so idk if I need a 308, and if I do, I want it to be a savage with a bull barrel and an accutrigger.

I held a Remington 1911 in my hand ($660) and that was exciting. I have a 45 but not a 1911 style.

Idk!

Thoughts?

My son has a Henry 22LR lever action that he got for xmas. He loves it. Yet to shoot it yet, but loves the gun. But you said you already have a bunch of 22's.

put it towards a henry in something like 45LC. my brother has one blast to shoot. Reloading equipment isnt a bad idea either, saves a good bit of money over time.

You seem to like to tinker with stuff, so my opinion is go for the 1911 and build it out. Second choice would be a reloading kit. I am looking at getting one myself but have no idea what I'm doing as far as that goes.

Mmmm 1911 is my next pistol. I'd save for that one.

I'd say go for the 1911, but that's because I want one.

Gander is overpriced, but they do price match. I got my G30 from the one in Greensburg, and nearly $150 cheaper than their price tag.

I looked at the guns for awhile but ended up leaving with a shopping cart full of the ammo I thought was reasonably priced. When in doubt, stock up on ammo...

Can't really go wrong with it.

Go with the 45-410 its the best of both worlds you can shoot the .45 like the 1911 and a 410 shotgun shell its a real nice pistol

My first thought is, "ripped off." Having a gift certificate though, I'd get ammo.
