My truck is setting on 422 just east of butler. I'd like to get it home pretty quick and it would be easier to just toss in an inline pump to get it home. I'm not fond of changing the mechanical fuel pump on the side of the road.

Let me know if you have one. Thanks,

Steve

Wish I could help, I don't have a inline fuel pump at the moment.

Will a Mr. Gasket fuel pump get you going? I think they are sold at most part stores for $10?

Nothing else I use to buy low pressure inline pumps for my diesel tanks for $40 at Autozone, might be something to look into.

If this is the 400 motor then why not change it? It's only a 10-20 min procedure.

It's a 390, they are harder to get to than the modified. Where are you finding one for $10??

I have a inline pump you can use if you need it.

Thanks for the offer. I got it fixed. I was just looking for a quick way to get it home and then fix it. But since it is a beautiful day out, I decided to go out and just fix it. Only took about an hour because I had to pull the power steering pump and bracket off to get to the fuel pump.

They use to be $10 for the cheap thing on the shelf.

Haven't really looked at one lately so not really sure on the price.

Wouldn't think they jumped up in price too much!
