So Saturday night I went to the Raccoon Twp VFD tractor pull. Been a busy day and I got there late so I didn't bring my tractor, just went to hang out. Well they asked "where's the Deuce?" So a couple phone calls later, I had my dad driving it out!

So they let me pull in the 8500# Open diesel class as exibition. (800+hp 4x4 trucks, anything goes) So I was a bit low in HP at 134hp, but I did weigh in at 13,100lbs.

So I go hook her up right to the pintle with a couple shackles so the hook will fit. Nerves got me at first, I wanted to start in 2L but grabbed the wrong gear. Stalled it right out in 3L.... oops. So thinking I was in 2L I put it in 1L which was a good choice. Off the line I got the sled off the ground and my front tires came up a bit too!

Down the track here we go! First 175' didn't feel like I had all the much behind me. After that the pan dropped and she started working. By 200' the front end was getting light. At 250' the front tires were 6" off the ground and I was out of power!

All in all a great pull, the high HP guys were hitting around the 300' mark. I felt pretty good making 250 on an 8th of the HP. I hit 4.5mph while everyone else was closer to 15mph.

Here is the video. Talk about a rush. So I'd say that was a good test of the truck, If it were gonna break I think it would have then!

Are they over for this year? I already had plans or I would have walked over. Heard them prepping it all day.
