I just had a universal joint go out on me in my 97 jeep
and it took out a large portion of my transfer case. Any
chance anyone can recommend a good shop that can
rebuilt the case with my teralow kit etc...?

teralow only uses the rear case of the 231 I may have rear half of a 231 case laying around.

I might even be able to find the speedo housing which is prolly what you broke.

I'd buy an used Atlas before I bought a Tera Low for a NP231.

I believe he already has the teralow in there.
agreed though, I have seen the teralow fail without too much abuse.

Tera low is great on smaller rigs without too much power - past that = KABOOM!

Hey I have a whole rear speedo housing with the shaft bearings gears and all that still through it. If you want it... It's 23 spline.. or is it 32? shit, dyslexic.. whatever. I'll come off it real cheap. like super cheap. and its in good shape.

If you are in Washington, take a trip over to All-Star Transmissions in California, PA. They are damn good and reasonable.
