Does anybody own a Viper? It's a POS .22 known for feed issues because of the plastic clips provided. The metal clips are supposed to correct the issue but since the rifle was only in production for a couple of years, they're rare and $50 a pop!

I was just wondering if anyone had some mags lying around or knew where I could find some cheaper. The rifle is actually pretty accurate if I could get it to stop jamming.

Check out Midway USA or Brownell's, I'm pretty sure Midway had those magazine's last time I was browsing the catalog.

Sounds like a "for sale" item ready to happen!

If you like the semi-auto route, stick with the Ruger 10/22 - it has the bugs worked out, and they make some really good aftermarket mags for it. Or BUILD a dedicated AR-.22LR. Or go with a good Marlin, mag-fed bolt action. I have a 925R, and the steel mags for it are excellent!

:D Yeah, it's just something that goes boom. Or in this case, pop.
I'd like to get it to fire right. I kinda see it sitting there and feel bad for it.

As far as the dedicated build- I've seen pics of yours in previous posts. It's pretty sweet!
