My old STi, sold last summer. Had a catless downpipe and Accessport.

I just replaced it with this Legacy GT Wagon. It is an 05 which is the only year you could get the turbo wagon in a manual trans. It is not as quick as the STi but the handling is surprisingly close.

Subarus are the only Japanese car I would ever own. They run forever and are in general awesome.

Subie's kick ass. What other 4cyl sounds like a small block chevy mixed with a 2nd gen 12v and makes 400hp without too much effort? Dozer45 had an STI with hardly anything done to it, man that son of a bitch was faaaaaaaaast and would stop on a dime...

We have all taken it easy on you in spite of you driving the gayest thing ever to wear the Jeep name. Don't worry though. I'll still pull you out this winter when you stuff your station wagon into a snow bank. :flipoff2:

Well I greatly appreciate that. And when I run OVER your Subaru, I'll try to be as gentle as possible, when picking you out of my tread. :080:

We've had Subarus for a number of years, I currently drive an 08 Forester XT turbo with a Cobb Accessport. It is doing about 275hp on premium pump gas, handles great, and sticks to the road like velcro in ANY weather. It also gets decent gas mileage and has plenty of room inside.

He'd have to be stuck in the mother of all traffic jams to be caught by a 4.7-powered soccer ball transporter.

Ok, just don't let the Subies big brother see you messing with it. Or its super swamper tracks on your hood.

I like subies.. and it is a recent advent in my automotive career and fandomhood.

Personally I like the 2001+ and later body designs.. the fit and finish interiorwise is on par with all the other asian manufacturers and they are comfortable to drive and with the exception of exhaust that likes to rot apart from its thin gauge and leaky v alve covers they are pretty rock solid cars. If I ever get another car (as I only have trucks and jeeps) I would go for a mid grade N/A Legacy or impreza.

Meh... I'm still MORE scared of the Chaz Bonos in lumberjack shirts IN 'em! :107:

Most of the lesbians I know have cooler toys than most people. I mean guns and jeeps and UTVs, by the way get your mind out of the gutter. :flipoff2:

I have a 2003 Imprezza outback sport as my daily driver.
I am at 95,000 miles and if you don't count wear items like tires, breaks, headlights, wiper blades and oil changes the only repair i have had done is a radiator at 60,000 miles.
It is a great car.

Nice find Dave!! I own two Subaru's and yes they are reliable, comfortable, the gas mileage doesn't completely suck, and they go like hell in the snow with nothing but all-seasons on them.

Lots of Subi owners on here! Wife has an '11 fozzy and I still have the 08 wrx for my DD.

I'm always impressed with the rex. Its been a really very reliable DD (over 75k on it now) and a fun one at that. 27MPG all day long and torque to spare, even on the stock tune its fast enough for my commuting duties. Still gets me there every time in the PA winters. Added some blizzaks last year for winter tires and WOW did that thing become a lead sled on the highway when we have slush/snow covered roads.

I'd love to retire it from DD duties in the future and build a fun weekend/track car out of it.
