I need a good lock box before we have our home inspection for our adoption, and I want something that can be quickly opened in the middle of at night in case of a break-in.

I like the looks of some of the biometric ones, but I need one that will accept more then one set of prints (Kerri will need to access it well as myself). I've seen some complains on some that they only take one set of prints, that isn't an option as I need something she can get into if she needs too when I'm not home.

I have a XD-40 (subcompact) and I'd like something that will hold a couple extra of mags as well, but I don't need to be able to fit the entire kitchen sink in it.

What do you guys use?

I have one that fits the kitchen sink, so I really don't have much to contribute, but I will say anything you seriously think about buying, go on youtube and search for people breaking into that model because it seems to be the recent fad: showing off how easy it is to break into those small gun safes.

Looking for more child (under the age of say 7) safe for now! 8 years from now I can look for something better! I know most anything can be cracked without much trouble if they steal the while thing.

That's a nice looking setup, but that's more then I paid for the gun!! Was hoping for something more affordable.

The gunvaults are nice, but it goes to what level of secutity are you looking for. most times, you can find them for about $100 on amazon.
