it cost me a case of keystone light so thats why i did it...gonna be a budget build.
i was gonna do a coil set up but after looking around im gonna go SOA...a little cleaning of this axle or if anyone has a leaf sprung hp drivers side axle..like a yj....

He wont run into any problems now being open and just running 31's or 33's. Once, he gets the 30 in there, then the hard stuff is done for now. Then if he finds a 44 that he can trade for a case of beer later on down the road, it won't be much work to get it in.

Not everybody wants full width axles and the ability to run 39s. With the d30 he doesn't have to mess with his rear axle and he can keep the same bolt pattern wheels. Cheap upgrade since he has the fab skills.

It would be cheap to link if you set it up like a factory XJ and use stock or Poly XJ control arm bushings. Or even splurge for a few heims on one end and bushings on the other. I been using stock XJ bushings for years with no problems. I also been having great luck building my links out of square tubing that's easy to find at scrap yards.

well i got my steel for the fab...3" angle for the frame support below the cab mounts,4" square recessed for the frame horns at the front...going to pick up my springs in a little while.i changed directions, going with a yj front hp,doing away with the vacuum disconnect, running one piece out of the xj i got off of josh. if possible im going to switch the 3.55's out of the xj axle and put them in the yj, im only running 31's. the yj has 4.10's rev cut
