Just picked up a Dmax and im not used to pulling anything other than a bumper pull trailer so excuse my ignorance... is there any kind of adapter to use my 5th wheel as a gooseneck? only thing a quick google search showed me was a few adapters on the trailer side and its not my trailer im going to be pulling

typically you can adapt a gooseneck ball in the bed to a 5th wheel with an adapter but not usually the other way around since the 5th wheel hitch sits higher in the bed.

If your 5th wheel hitch is on rails you could get one of these though

Depends on the hitch.

I use the B&W hitch. There are adapters that allow you to pull just about any type trailer hitch.
