The new 2015 Jeep Renegade (http://www.jeep.com/en/2015/renegade/) <clicky click. Seems to be pretty much along the size of a Sammy, except only available in a 4dr.
Might look pretty good with a lift and mudders!

Was hoping it would be based on the Fiat Panda, so the buthurt fanboys would have little to laugh about.

If you gave me one, I'd drive it. But there is no new car on the market that I would buy (but there are plenty I would own).

I give it less than 6 month until Jeep guys are drooling over how great this is.

They are bragging about 20:1 crawl ratio and .8 inch lift?

I wouldn't get out of the electric chair to sit in that thing.

If I had to pay for it, no. Someone handed me the keys and said "here", I'd roll it around especially if it was some eye sore bright color

If you judge it as a "jeep" then it sucks. But no major manufacturer can survive on one model lineup (although the Wrangler is huge for Jeep). I don't mind the looks if you're in the market for a mini-SUV.

Meh. I wouldn't drive it today, but I remember hating the Samurai too. Only time will tell whether it is worth anything offroad. If it is, and it's cheap enough to modify then it might be worth beating one to death on the trails...

i want to believe it has potential, but after the ugly as sin and worthless Cherokee I don't have hope. But hey jeep just makes cars now
