So as I start to drive the cj and get to know it seems that I might have a bearing whine. The problem is when going about 35 mph usually in 2nd gear I get this really annoying whine from either the transmission or maybe the transfer case. I have just recently changed all the fluids. Has anyone had the same set up or experienced the same thing? Most likely I will have to rebuild tranny and transfer case but wasnt sure if there was a quick fix out there. Also if anyone out there has any good input on clutch kits for my Small block chevy (blows through clutch in 3rd gear during hard acceleration). Not sure what size clutch kit I need either. Need to figure out if I have 153 or 168 tooth first. Pretty sure my starter is staggered. Any input will be helpful thanks.
