I'm looking for a 2005 or newer Grand Cherokee and there is one at Seneca Auto Sales in Zeli that I'm interested in, anyone close enough to take a look? Just wondering what kind of shape its in, and if the interior is in good shape. I don't need you to drive it or anything, you can if you want, but if its in half decent shape I'll come out this weekend, just don't want to waste a trip on something that is trashed.

Here is the Jeep I'm interested in: http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/vehicledetails.xhtml?dealerId=572648&zip=44515&endYear=2016&location=Zelienople%2BPA&startYear=1981&dealerName=Seneca%2BAuto%2BSales&searchRadius=50&listingId=398360044&Log=0

If you can check for rust and see if the seats/interior are clean and not ripped.

Thanks

I can go past that way on my way home from work tomorrow.
I'm not too familiar with inherent issues Grands may have.... so if any one has any pointers.... give a shout out.

That would be awesome. Really only concerned with rust (rear hatch rusts on these) and the interior condition (ripped seats and worn steering wheel are common)

I had an '07 Rocky Mountain edition. LOVED it. The V8 does nicely and does suck some gas. Never had any problems. Took mine through the mud area at Truck Night. Had to stop three times on the way home to let it cool down. All the mud clogged the radiator. When I sprayed it off, the mud went through the first radiator (tranny cooler actually) and just sat in between the tranny cooler and the actual radiator. I had to separate both and clean real good in between. No problems after that.

The V8 offroad with the traction control turned off. NICE!

The body looks really good. Some minor paint scratches here & there that the dealer touched up. The engine sounded pretty good.
The rear hatch looked to be rust free all around. There was some trouble getting the hatch glass to close. Took a couple solid (not quite) slams.
Looks like it's spent its life only on road. One thing I forgot to check was power seat/windows and all that stuff... my bad :retard:

If I heard the guy right, the front rotors were cut but they would get replaced. Pads were decent but I'd guess less than 1/2 left.

Has a 3 month 4500 mile warranty.

The drivers seat looks like the only interior part with wear showing, but not much..... (just that little spot on the lower back, center) Didn't notice any cracks.
Forgot to look at the steering wheel.

If I remember right...this is from the drivers side front wheel well.... pretty much through, about the size of two fingers)

The rocker, under the drivers door....

Under the rear door, drivers side....

And the rear drivers side wheel well.... (sorry for the blurriness) rusty but not through.

Like I said, all in all it looks nice. Had to get home for the grand daughters graduation so didn't have time for a drive.

Awesome!! Thanks for checking it out. Looks like its worth the drive out. Milage doesn't bother me, only need something for a year or 2 until we pay off Kerri's car and can get something newer. We probably won't put more then 5-10k in 2 years.

The last one I looked at (only 20min away) was trashed. Didn't even drive it it was so dirty and messy. Rear hatch was rusted shut and would open more then an inch or 2! It only
