The water pressure was low here this morning - I knew a HUGE watermain burst somewhere. Listening to my scanner, it was actually flooding Saw Mill Creek - that's JUST how much water is gushing into it!

FINALLY... local news stations got it up on their website... and... I can barely look - oh, the humanity... a sinkhole related to it... ate a RAMCHARGER!!! :crybaby:

A water main break has caused damage in Pittsburgh's Carrick neighborhood. The break along Homehurst Avenue was reported shortly before 9 a.m. Monday. A photo from the scene appears to show two vehicles swallowed up by a sinkhole, which was caused by the rushing water.

Damn - I knew it was really CLEAN, really STRAIGHT, and REALLY original. I saw it over at the Prop Shop in Carrick for many years, and then down at the Michelin dealer on 51 just above 88, until recently. I'd always wanted to stop in and talk to the owner, just to admire it.

Any idea if he's gonna try and salvage the frame & running gear? Did the frame get bent?

I was riding home from Dave's shop last week (dropping off the Commander) with a friend, who tried a shortcut around there. Sure enough, we drove right BY the guy's property... and crews are STILL filling in the hole with rock... and they're nowhere NEAR done!!! :103:

I haven't heard any more about the RC, but there was a LOTTA water moving through there, lemmee tell ya' - how the foundation of that garage didn't wash out I have NO idea!!!
