'69 or '70? What engine? Looks like it might have the SE back seat. Nice car, my buddy and I were restoring his '69 R/T SE with the same color scheme; weird green with a vinyl top. That ended when his garage burnt leaving not much more than the shell of the car even though it's salvageable. It's now sitting in a lean-to rusting away. Nice car, I'd love to have one.

I drive a tan 2000 Cavalier to work. It might look lame, but a free car that gets 30 mpg, costs $7 a month to insure, and hauls ass is no joke.

Any free car is a good car!
Thanks, it's a '70, completely non numbers matching 318 auto car. Sucks to hear about the '69 R/T SE, but there's enough aftermarket metal to repair almost anything these days. Color was originally a dull gold with a vinyl top on mine, it's currently just rattle canned. All last summer it was like 4 different colors, haha. Has a 318 magnum engine converted to carb, nv3500 5 speed, exploder 8.8 rear end. I can actually get 20-21 mpg on the highway if I stay under 70. Rear seat was an $80 swap meet special from a '70 roadrunner.

In what world does a 2000 Cavalier haul ass. I applaud you for driving a hoopty, but c'mon.

That's a wildly interesting conversion into that. Is the pedal assembly from a charger?

Haha, that's awesome! That beats out all of the other cheap beater cars posted on here. Post here if you decide to part with it.

I "inherited" a new, '95 Crapalier, when I married my wife in '96. It never got 30mpg, with a 5 spd. no less, cost hundreds per year in UN-warrantied repairs (damn warranty never covered ANYTHING), and it didn't haul ass - it WAS, "ass." :icon_butt: I wouldn't WISH one on my mother-in-law. The Crapalier is the ONE car that would SERIOUSLY make me consider a foreign car as an alternative. :wasted:
YMMV, of course! :080:

Drive it around Vegas for a week - Danny will spot you, and give $25,000 for it! :047:

Clutch pedals are from another B body of that era, not sure what exactly. If the Count pays 25 g's for my car he's doing it wrong.:042:
If anyone want to waste some time you can read the whole build thread here,

That is hands down the coolest charger ever! A 68-70 charger is one of my bucket list cars... when or if you ever decide to part with it hit me up, absolutely love it!

What was your office manager smoking? That is one of the coolest cars you could possibly own.
But damn dude, it's a spacious trunk but only when EMPTY. That's alot of SHIT in there.

Haha, thanks guys. That's why you never go to a swap meet without a truck or trailer! As you can see, I just can't say no when there's a good deal. :080:

69 RT 440, 4speed. Don't know if the numbers match, I'll have to check when I rebuild it, someday. It is a shell right now. It gets pushed out of the garage once a year to clean the garage out. It would be fun to have one as a beater to drive every day. If the body on yours isn't rotted out, there's always a lot of potential for these cars.
