Anyone ever have a hard line burst? Strangest thing happened today when I was on a hill backing up. My brake line along the frame rail next to the t-case burst and I lost all brakes. The line is not rusted and couldn't have been abused cuz it's protected by the skid.

Many times, but usually due to rust.

That's what was confusing. The brake lines on the axles and in engine bay look horribly rusted but the frame lines are not and that's where it burst.
