So it all started with my Father in law telling me about this sweet 1969 CL350 scrambler that he found. He bought the parts bike for it for 50 bucks, in boxes. and decided to put it together. So he convinced me to buy the nice bike.

So i did. Anyway, after he got the parts bike together and going he decided he wanted to sell it, so i snagged that along with the bike lift. 1972 CL350 scrambler

Well, during all this my buddy who owns specialty cycle works out near johnstown posts that he's clearing out all his extra inventory for 200 bucks a bike. And because a bunch of us are idiots, we bought them all to build into scramblers

I took the black gs550 and it started like this:

anyway, while i'm working on that, i also decided. you know... i'm still a novice and should have a more modern bike to learn on (i grew up riding dirt bikes, so not a total novice to bikes). So i was looking and found a 2017 SCR950 LOCAL for 1200 bucks less than anywhere else in the country. So i grabbed that as my stock "good bike".

These things are just so much easier to work on than cars lol. I'm still building the TA and keeping an eye open for another jeep. But they've been a good distraction.
