...Further proof to my ongoing theory that people are just stupid...

I saw a CJ with a TWELVE INCH body lift on eBay the other day... I can't find it now (auction must have ended), but it looked so rediculous...

That's just a shame! A TJ lost to someone who is uneducated on them and wants to look cool.

As for the one on e-bay...that's just ridiculous. Wonder how it rides on the trail considering it has such a low center of gravity.

I'm by no means the expert on this, but I'd imagine that it would ride like a Jeep with biga$$ tires and pretty much zero articulation...

it looks like you could change the spark plugs without even popping the hood on that thing!

Hrmm.. I'd have to say whoever typed that ad isn't versed in Jeep mods.

Take a look at the pic. Obviously it's lifted entirely to much for the tires that are on it, but I'm beting that's a suspension lift. I have a 1" BL on mine and if it was any higher, you would beable to see a gap between the front bumper cover and the bottom of the grill. Also, those are factory sidesteps that mount to the frame rails. There would be a GIANT gap between the steps and the bottom of the tub if there was infact a 4" BL on there. But as it sits, those steps are in the same place mine came from the lot.

My 2c.

Hey.. The tires are worth the bidding price right now, so long as they aren't dry rot.

Dude, I saw it, it's like 200 yards from my house, it's a 4" body lift. It looks ridiculous, the pucks are ginormous.

It's gone already, BTW...either sold or someone took it for a test drive and it flopped over taking a turn.....

Better pic, shows the gap between the steps...

Yeah, you're right, there IS a giant gap there.

It's odd that there isn't a gap under the grill though.

If ya look close, it looks like there's a black chunk of something between the grill and bumper...

I just swung by to look at it again on my way home. There's a bigass gap under the grill and an equally bad gap in the rear of course. It's a sweet low-mileage TJ, but that "custom 4" BL" is gahhhbage.

Under the front grill is a spacer that looks like 2 C-clips connected: []
