WTB: 6cyl wrangler under 5k

a guy i work with is lookin for a wrangler for under 5000.00. i told him id ask around. he would like a tj but i told him its doubtful for that price. so were lookin for yjs. must be a 6cyl that runs decent. hes gonna use it to get back and forth to work. mods are a plus but not a must. i found a few on craigs list but figured id ask over here. let me know what ya got. thanx

Try and find someone you know who has a connection with an auto auction. You could get a decent used TJ 4.0L for that price.

i work at D-A Auto Auction... i have some connections if your buddy is paying cash and or has a check from the bank to pay right away!!

tj's with a 6cyl are going for 4-6k with 100K+ on the odo,.....example...98 with 108k sold for 5000 a few weeks ago

if it's in good shape they go for more... but if a yj would work for him then under 6k is do-able
