2007 jeepfest

went to new castle saturday for jeepfest. i would guess maybe between 500-600 jeeps in attendence. a fantastic day with sunshine and clear skies. nice little obstacle course and trail rides. nice deep mud hole to play in ( i think some people were a little surprised just how deep it was haha hehe) made for great action for spectators. could have used some more vendors but i am sure this thing is gonna grow every year, this place was packed!! lots of prized raffled off (good stuff too, not flea market grade items!) overall just a fantastic event for everone. awesome jeeps in the show with some paint schemes that i can't even begin to describe they were so nice and detailed, and some radical crawlers that made the rock obstacle and mud pit look like a mere logging road in the mountains. it seemed everyone had something to do and enjoyed themselves. for me and i am sure alot of the others the best part planned out was the things for the kids to do. i, like many others, took my family with me and the kids had tons to do and had lots of fun. my hats off to the creators of this event for thinking of the little people just as much as the big ones. thanks alot!!! all in all this is an event that we will travel to every year and i encourage as many others to do the same, bring the family and enjoy a great day with friends and meet some new ones!! :109: ps. we have been bikers for several years and enjoyed going to rallies an meeting new people, well i think off roaders and jeepers are better. everyone is more than happy to lend a hand and offer info to help you out and that says alot. thats why i enjoys these events so much more because everone seems to get along.:022: thats pretty mushy insn't it!?

thats not funny spyder, just rub salt in the wounds why don't ya. by law (man law that is) don't you have to split that diff. cover with me since we split the tix and i graciously handed you the winning half. i would like to see ya try and split that diff. cover, NO WAY! you lucky pr:ck! had a great time thanks dude!!

We had a total of 465 registered Jeeps for Jeepfest 2007.

This is up from approx. 400 for 2006.

The weather held up for us great, and everyone seemed to have a great time. Our volunteers (we had about 110 volunteers) really helped things to go smoothly, so smoothly that I actually had a chance to sit down & eat lunch with my family this year!

Our rock garden & mud pit caused a decent amount of carnage for the day.

Jeepfest 2008 is already scheduled for Saturday, August 23rd.

damn i wish i went. i was on my way back to beaver falls coming down 60 and saw a godzillion jeeps pass by. must've been from that...
