View Full Version : Motor mounts for ZJ
Need to replace the ZJ's motor mounts, definitely. I can stick my finger through them without hitting any rubber! Any suggestions? :?

I assume you are going to be using this as a daily driver, I would just look into OEM replacements. I have the MORE Bombproof Mounts in the TJ, I like them, they are nice but I think that might be overkill for you.
Dont' think that they make MORE mounts for a ZJ, already looked. I actually have XJ MORE mounts that I never installed, but I think they are different style, may not work in the ZJ.
Did you check the 4WD website? They have a lot of stuff listed.
For a ZJ? I must have missed it, where?

I'm happy with my Napa mounts, they're identical to the stock ones except they say "made in mexico" on them
I'm going to pick up the napa mounts at lunch, since they have them in stock (which I find amazing in and of itself).
I may request some assistance installing, any takers? :D
EDIT: Picked them up. Made in Thailand :)

Thailand's aren't nearly as good as Mexican ones.

Really? j/k I knew that, but they are really bad.
I think Matts were worse... if I remember right.

I don't expect anything less from Matt. He has to have the worst of everything
Funny how similar the XJ and the ZJ are. I just fixed the ZJ oil blow-by issue that the XJ had using some of my left-over and slighly modified XJ parts. :) The one that results from a plugged/broken CCV vent cap/line.
Betcha if I change the air filter, It'll stay clean now. :) I love being such a I6 guru.
