Just got a call from a friend who lives about 3 streets away...his neighbor bought my Jeep from the dealership where I bought my truck. I wanted to tell him that it has all kinds of problems, but I'm staying out of it...just thought I'd share.

What type of problems did your Jeep have? Other than it didn't have A/C it seemed okay to me...

Check engine light kept coming on ever few hundred miles.
I think the tranny mount was going bad.
Front passenger u-joint had excessive play.
Rear brakes lock up real bad when wet.

I'm sure there's more...just can't remember, I tried to block it all out.

check engine light...most likely the 02 sensor.
tranny mount...30 bux
rear brakes locking up...common w/ d-35 drums
and obviously...u joints go bad all the time

It kept tripping the code for EVAP leak...but the gas cap was tight. I think it had something to do with the body lift -- maybe an evap line got kinked or stretched somewhere down there I don't know.
