Well... here is my new ride. I cant be happier with it. Its everything i was looking for when i was buying a rig. 1995 4Runner with a 3.slow and a auto tranny, has power everything, i threw in some rockford fosgate P1 12's with a rockford amp, i painted the wheels black with bedliner. Its also from florida and has no rust on it. What do ya think?

Make sure you clean and undercoat that REAL well before bringing it to Erie.

It's still foreign:102:

but it does look really clean and even our "domestic" cars are usually made overseas

I've always been a fan of the older 4runners, or any Toyotas for that matter (I am half Asian) . I liked the older year ones where the tops come off. Nice looking rig.

I saw this one on craigslist sometime back and wanted it. I'm thinking of getting my XJ painted this color.

I wonder if it ever sold? I was thinking of another project when that kept popping up for sale...

Welcome to the Yota family. Might I suggest you stop into http://www.ultimateyota.com and meet some really knowledgeable Yota guys (not saying there aren't knowledgeable Yota guys here, tho - DMG is way up there on the Yota knowledge) :)

Nice Choice. I had 4runner of that vintage in a previous life. Still one of my favorite purchases.

Hey guys, figured i'd drop an update on the runner. Since i posted about it last, i added 100W spot lights on the front from the girlfriend, clear corners and turn signals, painted the rings around the subs and the amp red, and put red bulbs in the dash. This past week i painted the brackets for the spots, the third brake light cover, and the bottom part of the body with bedliner. I also put on some 32X11.50 Mastercraft Courser MT's. I also took the trim off around the wheel wells and i plan to cut the cut air dam a little in the front, and remove the sides of my back bumper so the tires dont rub during flex. Well anyways, heres a pic of the truck right after i got the tires testing the flex and a few pic of her all shined up yesterday...

Those tires are what I have on the XJ. Good bang for the buck. I have been happy the few times I had it on muddy trails.

Looking good man,

I like those 4runners. The only thing to me is they have a big back end. It kinda gets hung up on things. I'd dump that rear bumper and go with Tube hoop thing back there to clean it up and gain some extra clearance/ departure angle.
