I learned to drive on a 79 PW!! Haulin coal down the ridge in that thing was a blast...truck was a beast!!

NIce!!! I had a 79 Ramcharger. I loved that bodystyle! Especially those PW's with the factory custom striping kit with the big POWER WAGON stickers. Cool find.

I just can't look at them right, theres a 2wd shortbed I always see running around thats base color is brown but someone thought it was a white VW Microbus. Flowers and crap painted all over it.

What are you going to do to it? I would like to see it with the running boards removed and the fenders cut out to fit 35s.

the rear is a 9 3/4 and the front is a dana 44

That's awesome my dad had a 78 3/4 ton dodge army generator truck with 34k when he bought it. That's what I learned how to drive on too. he painted his flat black and after he put on 500 pounds of bumpers the effects from the intake, carb, headers and exhaust he did were voided haha.

Go with something reasonable not 12" L beams for bumpers.
