I have a old school pair of Rock Shox Mag 20's on my Cannondale right now. Back in the day these things were great but... they really don't have the recoil that I want. If I am off the saddle going up a hill they just bottom out.
So, anyone have some suggestions? They must be V Brake compatible unless I wanna run a disc up front and V's in the rear.
There is a guy selling a used pair of Marzocchi 05 Comps on craigslist and he only wants 60 for them. Anyone ever run these?
Any help would be appreciated. Oh and keep in mind, this is not gonna be a downhill so I do not need a ton of travel.
Thanks

I would say just fork out the money for a fox or a reba.

if you have the money FOX is where its at. If you want to keep it budget, then go with Rock Shocks, Air forks are the latest in MTB Sects...

I have Rock Shocks on mine also and hate them. My old Cannondale had that old style Head shock and I liked it alot better.

They used to sell something that would let you replace your springs with air cartridges. You end up with an incredibly light air suspension fork. I ran a setup like that before and I really miss it after replacing mine with a spring fork to run discs.
