Just wanted to share a little perk I found through the new L.L. Bean store up at Ross Park Mall.

I had this old backpack that I have had ever since middle school, it lasted me all the way through college. I have not used it since I completed school, and it has been sitting collecting dust... So while I was up at the store I asked if they would take it for store credit since I dont really have much use for a school backpack anymore. (It needed fixed anyhow, broken zippers ect...) They said sure, and I ended up getting this one:

Not too bad of a deal, I figure you guys have to have one of their classic deluxe packs you no longer use. Keep in mind I had to add money to the purchase but still a good deal in my eyes.

I got an ice cream maker from them for xmas this year. The one that looks like a hampster ball and you roll around on the ground. Does that make me gay?

No, you leaving with "Brad's" number from the bar last night makes you gay.

I would say the combination of liking LL Bean and picking up a guy's number from the bar would make you a gay yuppie.

Left Brads number with Lisa. Last idea was to call him and pretend to be her boyfriend and tell him I would see him at the airport this morning. Figured he would be a little nervous walking around.

Ummm, ok I obviously missed it...who is Brad and Lisa?

I went to the original LL Bean in Freeport, Maine. That store is awesome. They sell all kinds of cool gear from shotguns to canoes and they guarantee everything for life. Even if you do something retarded to cause the breakage.

BTW, sorry to hear you are a fag now, Wrecker.

Brad was some traveling sales guy trying to pickup the bartender last night. Even when she said that she could not see him after work because she had just moved in with her boyfriend he insisted she take his number and call him. Just a tool.

EMS was long gone before LL Bean got in there.

And that jeans store is Lucky Brand Jeans. They're decently expensive, but they last longer and are more comfortable than Levi's.

I dont think there is any EMS around here anymore afaik.

The only store similar to it that I know of is REI on the south side.

REI on the southside is awesome. I actually need to make a trip there again. I think I might finally get some rock shoes

There used to be an EMS at South Hills Village, but it is gone. REI is a cool store, they are putting another one in at Settlers Ridge.

Doesn't REI support anti-wheeling organizations? They will never get a dime of my money.

They are a big supporter of the Sierra Club, which is very much against wheeling.

REI is a big sponsor of pretty much every other outdoor activity in this region and provides funding to organizations like Venture Outdoors to get people off the couch and learning about the outdoors. The anti-wheeling connection is an unfortunate side-effect.

Does that mean it's ok? I love it when the sierra club comes to my door and asks for money. I just point to the 'yota and get a confused look from them.

Does LLBean take back old boots? I've got this pair I've sent to hell and back. Must of had them since the mid 90s finally there is no more tread on them. Might just trade them in on some new ones.
