View Full Version : TJ Front Bumper

Had a day off so me and a couple buddies decided to fab up a new front bumper for my TJ. Not COMPLETELY done, needs 2 more lights and a weld or 2 ground down, and maybe a coat of paint but it don't look too bad. Just thought i'd share my fabrication ;)

That looks nice but isn't the tube a little small? Maybe the picture but it looks like it would bend up into the grill on impact.

I like it, but it does need beefier tubing, looks like about 3/4" for the side supports and 1 1/4" for the main hoop. If it was me building it I would go 1 1/4" for the supports and 1 3/4" for the main hoop.

Hard to tell but is that just set in front of the original bumper or did you build off the original?

Haha constructive criticism is alright. I know it's a little small but it's pretty thick walled stuff. It'll get changed soon but this'll work for now. I got all the materials for free cuz it was just laying around the shop. And yeah it's built off of the original, it's temp till i build my full bumper.
