Some days I just have to laugh. This came in the shop as a emergency fix. This was done by a maintance guy that works at a near by shop that we do some work for. enjoy!

Yep! with a tig welder the first time around. set it on DC+ I have know idea why. Then tried to cover it up with a mig weld. Supposedly he looked on the internerd and it said you can mig weld steel to alum. Now I really dont doubt that part of it but damn this was a bad example of how to do it.
