Well I had the day off so i thought I would comtinue my rocker guards that i started a couple weeks ago.
They started as some scrap steel that i found in the woods of his farm. So me and my buddy started up the tourch.
After about 4 1/2 hours today i got them finished.
Here's some pics of the progress.

I think this will hold up a little better than the tub (it's already bent a little from a rock).

How thick? I'd say they'll hold up good. I think the only thing better would be frame mount sliders.

I might still put tubing on them like the poision spider ones. So far i have 30 bucks in them. (Tractor supply for a cutoff and some bolts.)

I really like them other than the yellow bolts.
I assume you used the torch to bend them or was it angle? I am about to do the same, my current ones aren't long enough and just mount to the tub. I have a bunch of left over steel just need to get access to a torch and some time.

It already had a radius on it so i didn't have to bend it. I just cut everything to length.

i need to add those to my frame mount ones to make it look better, i just like the idea of having frame mounted ones instead of them being mounted to the tub.
nice work. Btw

nice job! being 3/16" I don't think you need to worry about bending it. does he have any more scrap steel laying around that needs to be taken care of....
