awesome! cant wait to see how it turns out!
Well its been awhile since I,ve posted with progress so hear it goes.
IF you are following this and want to do the same it was not easy.
the first thing is a 4.3 vortec. the later years have a split intake that will be easy to modify

machine out the intake as so

after that i got some half inch al plate and made the top and machined to fit

this part is the big one
the blower

the line is fore where you must chop off the exsess

there was allot of fab on this
with it all together with it on the engine it looks like this

God that is badass! Why the heavy mods to the charger? Had it laying around or no aftermarket option that was feasible cost wise or application wise? I'm diggin it
That blower cost me 70$ so if I screwed it up to much I was only out that much.
The fact that it was off of a fwd Gm 3800 means the injectors did not line up with the blower.
The back half had to be modified so that the original throttle body did not go into the fire wall.
^ Good stuff! That should be tons of fun when its finished!
Next is a trans that will be good enoufe
NV4500

after all that I still needed to change how my steering box was located so I needed to remove the stock shock mounts and came up with this.

Hello 78 crusher I´m starting to build the same engine-supercharger combo. but carbed. so I have some questions about the results in power, temperature of the engine. durability of the belt... and some other things... please if you have a contact mail send it to me.
